SAM.gov Registration Assistance

SAM.gov, short for System for Award Management, is an online platform used for the registration and management of government contracts and grants. To participate in the government procurement and grant processes, businesses and organizations are typically required to register on SAM.gov.

Northern Tier’s APEX Accelerator program can help your organization navigate through the process to register in SAM.gov – free of charge. This registration involves providing essential company information, such as legal entity details, financial data, and contact information. Once registered, entities can update their information regularly and also access opportunities to bid on government contracts, making SAM.gov a critical tool for businesses looking to engage with the federal, state or local government.

Please contact Ethan Sexton, APEX Accelerator Program Manager for more information.

Keystone Opportunity Zone (KOZ) Program

The Keystone Opportunity Zone (KOZ) Program, administered through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, is an economic development program utilized by communities to develop abandoned, unused, underutilized land and buildings into business districts and residential areas that promote economic development and job creation. KOZ site selection assistance involves evaluating various factors, such as proximity to transportation hubs, workforce availability, infrastructure, and tax incentives within these zones. A KOZ designation provides tax exemption or a period of time to remove the tax burden on the owner and encourage development of the site.
