PA CareerLink® offers one-stop access to a comprehensive array of career services to both job seekers and employers across Pennsylvania. PA CareerLink® is part of the American Job Center network.

In the Northern Tier, PA CareerLink® and affiliate sites are strategically located within each of our five counties to ensure accessibility to customers throughout the region. Our goal is to prepare the current and emerging workforce with the skills needed to meet the needs of our employers and to be the workforce development resource for our communities.

PA CareerLink® has an advanced online database that houses thousands of jobs available in Pennsylvania, connecting jobseeker and employers.

The Northern Tier Region’s PA CareerLink® has professional staff to assist individuals and businesses in reaching their workforce goals.

Rapid Response Services

Rapid Response Services is an early intervention service that assists workers and employers affected by layoffs, plant closures and natural disasters. The Rapid Response program was developed to provide dislocated workers with the resources needed to get individuals back to work as quickly as possible. SkillUp

SkillUp provides individuals access to over 6,000 online trainings to Pennsylvania residents at no cost. SkillUp gives you access to various certification programs and over 130 industry recognized credentials.

Employers can access a variety of programs to help your employees build their skillset to meet your business needs.

ACT WorkKeys®

Jobseekers

WorkKeys Assessments can build and measure your essential workplace skills.  These foundational skills can increase opportunities for career change and advancement.  Earn the ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) through a series of assessments for applied math, graphic literacy and workplace documents. Credentials are issued at four levels; Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.

Business or Employers

WorkKeys Career Readiness Assessments provide a uniform measure of key workplace skills in order to make informed decisions about hiring, training, promoting and retaining employees. Individuals can earn an ACT WorkKeys® National Career Readiness Certificate™. This credential verifies individuals have the foundational skills found to be most essential across occupations and industries. These assessments measure competencies in applied math, graphic literacy and workplace documents.
